In Order to Maintain Safe and Secure Food, We Need More Small Farms and Homesteads, Not Fewer. The Consumer Needs
More Freedom to Choose to Buy Local, Not Less.
Our Story in Brief
The New Century Homesteader started off with a small herb garden and some wild foods harvesting. That led to vegetable
gardens, which led to geese who led to chickens and quail. Goats, pigs and rabbits also followed.
We sold hatching eggs, piglets, fresh herbs and vegetables, replacement stock and more. Workshops in various areas were
also offered.
Today, even though we have scaled down and basically raise only for personal use, We have started The New Century Homesteader
in order to start offering our workshops and consulting once again. We also have podcasts, online programs and radio in the
near future.
Please feel free to contact Kim about our services or with your own specific needs. You'll find our rates are reasonable
and we believe in what we do.
